Hello, Stormbounders! A new version of Stormbound is coming in February, bringing new balance changes.

Community Programs

This release brings Community Programs  to Stormbound - special in-game initiatives designed to reward Players for bringing new Players into the game.

Whether you're a regular Player looking to invite Friends or a Content Creator eager to share Stormbound with your audience, these programs offer great benefits for both you and those you invite!

  • Referral System – Available to all Players, this system allows you to invite friends to Stormbound and earn various rewards together. Both you and your Friends will gain in-game benefits when they join using your referral.
  • Content Creator Program – If you're a content creator, you can promote Stormbound using a special referral code linked to your nickname. This helps grow the community while offering exclusive perks for you and your audience.

Event Gift

During the event, everyone will receive a gift of coin 200 coins. To grab the gift, just redeem a special code, which is valid from February 3rdto February 10th, 2025, 8:00 AM CET.

  1. To activate the code, go to the redeem code site.  
  2. Enter the code in the Code field.
  3. Enter your Player ID in the Player ID field (you can find your Player ID in the in-game settings and copy it from there).
  4. Click the Redeem Code button.

More Cards

Book of Rodents and Book of Ancients will yield 2 extra cards for the duration of the whole event in store, starting from February 3rd to February 10th, 2025, 8:00 AM CET.

Ruby Bonus

Moreover, every Ruby bundle will yield double the original number of rubies. This is not time-bound, and effectively lasts forever until every bundle has been bought once.

Absorbing Varmints Avatar

Balance changes

This release, just like any other, will bring some balance changes.

  • Clap of Thunder’s ability now gives 2/2-3/3/4/5 strength (down from 2/3/4/5/6).
  • Prime Oracle Bragda’s ability now targets only 3/3/4/4/4 weaker units (adjusted from 3/4/4/5/5).
  • Lunatic Lunas’ strength is now 4/5/6/7/8 (down from 5/6/7/8/9).
  • Moment’s Peace's ability now gives 4/5/6/7/8 strength (up from 3/4/5/6/7).
  • Absorbing Varmints’ ability now deals 3/4/4/5/5 damage (down from 4/5/5/6/6).
  • Archdruid Earyn now costs 7 mana, and its ability has been reworked: On play, it randomly plays up to 2/2/3/3/3 spell cards from your hand with a combined cost of 8 or less (previously played up to 1 spell card up to Earyn’s mana cost from your hand).
Nerf compensation

As usual, some compensation in the form of coins and fusion stones will be provided to owners of Clap of Thunder, Absorbing Varmints, Prime Oracle Bragda, and Lunatic Lunas, proportional to the level and rarity of the card. Find below the compensation values for each rarity and level.

  • rare card  Rare card: coin 15 coins and fusion stone 2 fusion stones at level 2, coin 30 coins and fusion stone 3 fusion stones at level 3, coin 90 coins and fusion stone 7 fusion stones at level 4, coin 190 coins and fusion stone 10 fusion stones at level 5.
  • epic card  Epic card: coin 15 coins and fusion stone 2 fusion stones at level 2, coin 40 coins and fusion stone 5 fusion stones at level 3, coin 120 coins and fusion stone 10 fusion stones at level 4, coin 250 coins and fusion stone 20 fusion stones at level 5.
  • legendary card  Legendary card: fusion stone 1 fusion stone at level 1, coin 20 coins and fusion stone 5 fusion stones at level 2, coin 50 coins and fusion stone 10 fusion stones at level 3, coin 150 coins and fusion stone 20 fusion stones at level 4, coin 300 coins and fusion stone 50 fusion stones at level 5.
